Greetings to all. I'm extremely impressed at the knowledge and experience I find at this site, so I'll be coming back often. I've been using a large Big Green Egg for over five years, so I'm not quite a newbie, but there is still a lot to learn. I typically cook something on the BGE several times a week, year round. I'm in northern Kentucky, not far from Cincinnati, and I've been a griller at a number of Eggfests. I'm also a KCBS certified judge, and I do that whenever I can.
As to my abilities, I'll put my ribs up against anyone's, but not a lot of experience with most other specialties. I'm hoping to learn a lot here.

Hi, my name is Darrell. I'm an OTR truck driver for over 25 years. During my off time I love doing backyard cooks. I'm an Egghead too. I've been cooking on it for 5 years. There's always something to learn. You happened into the Pit at just the right time because there will be lots of in depth discussions about the tricks and simplicity of cooking on a ceramic cooker.
