Hi all, glad to be here. Long time user of the site (ashamed it took me this long to become a member).

Quick to know about me, I’m in the burbs outside Chicago, I grill/smoke all year (nothing better than taking a break from shoveling to add more coals to the fire).

I started out using the site to learn how to properly cook steaks and since then has escalated my cooking drastically in many areas. So much more to master and look forward to the journey.
