    All of this is spot on. I’ll add that reducing your sodium intake is a great excuse to make foods from scratch. I haven’t bought bottled BBQ sauce in years, make my own rubs, and my own sausages and bacon.

    I make all my own rubs and there is no salt in any of them. For my rig, I just lightly salt, then rest a bit before the rub and cook. Easy peasy. Having said that, I will look into the Flavorgod rubs. I have a couple nooks and crannies that could use filling...

    Look at Flavorgod rubs clean, very low or no sodium great flavors and affordable.

    Agreed. It doesn't always have to be an over the top thing. I like to cook healthy and my kamado is actually crucial for some things I like. It's fun for me to get my smoke on, then incorporate into a larger overall entree. Lots of fun...
