I make all my own rubs and there is no salt in any of them. For my rig, I just lightly salt, then rest a bit before the rub and cook. Easy peasy. Having said that, I will look into the Flavorgod rubs. I have a couple nooks and crannies that could use filling...
All of this is spot on. I’ll add that reducing your sodium intake is a great excuse to make foods from scratch. I haven’t bought bottled BBQ sauce in years, make my own rubs, and my own sausages and bacon.
