since you can remember that level of detail I can only assume you did not have what we call a 'two-four' of Blue. thanks for the welcome. I was in San Diego for a conference about 5 years ago. I came back with a half dozen bottles of wine in my suitcase.

I was close by your area when work took me to Lexington. didn't get to do something as cool as skiing but did some bass fishing on a close by river that has them stills on it. Speaking of which the bourbon was pretty good.

Welcome from California! Spent a week in Calgary about 25 years ago for a conference. Awesome city.

Also had my first “legal” beer there. I was 19 at the time and had a Labatt Blue. I was pretty excited since the drinking age in California is 21.

Welcome to the Pit from down south in Alabama! Glad to have you onboard! I was only in Calgary for a week once (business), but its a nice place when its not covered in snow! On the plus side, I got to ski in Banff and my company paid to get me up there with a weekend to kill...

The Pit Barrel Cooker May Be Too Easy

The PBC has a rabid cult following for good reason. It is absolutely positively without a doubt the best bargain on a smoker in the world. Period. This baby will cook circles around the cheap offset sideways barrel smokers because temperature control is so much easier.

Blackstone Rangetop Combo: Griddle And Deep Fryer In One

The flat top does the burgers and the fryer does the fries. Use the griddle for bacon, eggs, grilled cheese, and so much more. And why deep fry indoors when you can avoid the smell and mess by doing it outside!

Finally, A Great Portable Pellet Smoker

Green Mountain’s portable Davy Crockett Pellet Smoker is one mean tailgating and picnic machine. But it’s also gaining popularity with people who want to add a small, set it and forget it pellet smoker to their backyard arsenal. And with their WiFi capabilities you can control and monitor Davy Crocket from your smart phone or laptop.

Comprehensive Temperature Magnet With 80+ Important Temps

Amazingribs.com temperature magnet
Winner of the National BBQ Association’s product of the year award. This 8.5″ x 11″ magnet contains more that 80 benchmark temperatures for meats (both USDA recommended temps as well as the temps chefs recommend), fats and oils, sugars, sous vide, eggs, collagens, wood combustion, breads, and more. Although it is not certified as all-weather, we have tested it outdoors in Chicago weather and it has not delaminated in three years, but there is minor fading.

Grilla Pellet Smoker proves good things come in small packages

We always liked Grilla. The small 31.5″ x 29.5″ footprint makes it ideal for use where BBQ space is limited, as on a condo patio.

Is This Superb Charcoal Grill A Kamado Killer?

The PK-360, with 360 square inches of cooking space, this rust free, cast aluminum charcoal grill is durable and easy to use. Four-way venting means it’s easy to set up for two zone cooking with more control than single vent Kamado grills. It is beautifully designed, completely portable, and much easier to set up for 2-zone cooking than any round kamado.
