Woo hoo! I made the newsletter! Super cool, especially considering the ‘competition’ is fierce!

Have a weekend filled with blue smoke, and stay safe!

Just trimmed a 62 day wet aged brisket. Loaded it up with some signature rub!

Dang, someone’s eatin’ good in the hood!

was a great month of food!

Oh, this one was a first! This is the first newsletter where I HAD seen all the food submissions. Usually there's at least 1 that I missed during the month. Great job!

Jimeny Cricketts!! Is there anything attjack does that is NOT newsletter worthy. Shoot, he’s probably physically fit and gorgeous too. Just saying. I wanna cook like him.

I am just another cog in the wheel of this venerable brotherhood of great cooks. People like you and everyone else here teach me a lot and provide the necessary inspiration I use in the outdoor (and indoor) kitchen.

I should add that it's more than a brotherhood as we have a lot of very talented ladies among us.

This is like the umpteenth time I have been left out! Do I need to like, actually cook?

You could do like those facebook folks and just take pictures of other peoples stuff and claim it as your own. Saves all that hassle cookin'. Supposedly the stores are still cranking out those rotisserie chickens

Good job on the Newsletter everyone. I seem to miss seeing a few of those great cooks along the way so a good time to catch up. Thanks for all you work on this!

The Good-One Is A Superb Grill And A Superb Smoker All In One

The Good-One Open Range is dramatically different from a traditional offset smoker. By placing the heat source behind and under the smokebox instead of off to the side, Open Range produces even temperature from left to right, something almost impossible to achieve with a standard barrel shaped offset.

Comprehensive Temperature Magnet With 80+ Important Temps

          Amazingribs.com temperature magnet
Winner of the National BBQ Association’s product of the year award. This 8.5″ x 11″ magnet contains more that 80 benchmark temperatures for meats (both USDA recommended temps as well as the temps chefs recommend), fats and oils, sugars, sous vide, eggs, collagens, wood combustion, breads, and more. Although it is not certified as all-weather, we have tested it outdoors in Chicago weather and it has not delaminated in three years, but there is minor fading.

The Pit Barrel Cooker May Be Too Easy

The PBC has a rabid cult following for good reason. It is absolutely positively without a doubt the best bargain on a smoker in the world. Period. This baby will cook circles around the cheap offset sideways barrel smokers because temperature control is so much easier.

The Cool Kettle With The Hinged Hood We Always Wanted

Napoleon’s 22″ Pro Cart Charcoal Kettle Grill puts a few spins on the familiar kettle design. In fact, the hinged lid with a handle on the front, spins in a rotary motion 180 degrees. It’s hard to beat a Weber kettle, but Napoleon holds its own and adds some unique features to make the 22″ Pro Cart a viable alternative.
