"DIY" Barrel cooker

It does big up a valid point about buying they're brand new unused drum.
Picking up a used 45 gallon barrel from the local scrap yard would be asking for trouble considering the paint and coatings they would have been used on the drum.

It is not worth the money. it costs $900 fully equipped, $500 fir tor the kit. It shows only one grill and the collections/accessories are minimal and very expensive. You could buy 2 Oklahoma Joe 500 for less than 1 of these and add a DigiQ to each and have more control than one of these.

Neat. I want to build my own to arrange briskets a certain way. I'll need 36 inches worth of diameter to get 8 loaded and smoke with no hassle.
