jfmorris yes, it will all be stolen soon but I’ll get pictures first. But seriously, no. Not a problem so far but that only means so far. It will be hidden from the street with landscaping once the plants have matured. That’s all part of the plan. No summer kitchen. I doubt I’ll ever be able to afford that and I don’t have that kind of diy skills. We will likely screen it in but I haven’t priced that yet. It will basically be a patio and place to cook and like you said, a place to spread out from the pool, hang out and socialize. My wife actually ordered furniture this morning. In the end I think it will be simple but very nice. As soon as the lawn is finished we will be able to set it up.

I was going to say, originally I thought of making a kitchen, and my wife was pushing it, but after I got my Performer, with its expansive table, I decided a separate counter was not necessary, and that I preferred being able to rearrange the gas grill, Performer and my smoker as needed, depending on which one I was using, weather conditions, so on.

I have a Ring floodlight camera on the front of the house, and it can see almost the entire front yard, and the full curb approach from the street (about 100 feet wide). My back yard is fenced, but I may still put a floodlight camera out here at some point, for added security. It's been useful to know who is coming and going, and from the app on your phone, you can actually activate a speaker/mic in the camera, and talk to people.

Well, it went from this...
To this...
To this...
I wanted a Grilling Station. My wife wanted a Patio. Now we have Bill & Terri's Patio Grill. Now we're both happy
We will add some pavers at some point to blend with the pool deck and do some tweaks here and there. But now it is a very pleasant place to hang out. Do any of you folks want to visit? I'm cooking.

As i said earlier in the thread, this was part of a larger project that included sodding and installing a butterfly garden. It will be named for our 16 mo old granddaughter, Olivia's Garden. The sign should arrive any day and i said i would post final pics, i think. So here goes...

I don't see a shed for extra cookers that won't fit on the cook station. I mean, if you're not gonna build it for the extra cookers this site will make you buy, you are gonna need a place to put em when they rotate out.

Well done! Would you put the new pavers where the concrete is? If so, I'm not sure you need to and I would be worried about how the new ones would look with the old ones. Just my two cents, anyway. Looks great as is!

Thanks for your input. The pavers are the leading idea but not the only one. Concrete art, tile, outdoor carpet or nothing as you suggest. Actually I think a slightly different shade than the originals may be a nice contrast. Yes, the bare concrete right now isn’t bad. We will see as time goes on. Nothing we are going to do anytime soon.
