I'll take a spot with a grill, family and friends any day over work! And what matters is cranking out some great food!

We are currently "between houses". Plans are at the architect for the new house . . . just gotta get it built!

These pics are from our old set up. I thought I had a set of the finished unit, but oh well . . The old set up was a 35x25 slab, with a 20x20 covered area. From the back of the shed, the 1st 8 ft was covered on both sides to shield electronics & fridges from rain. The floor was also level. The open part of the slab dropped 3/4" from the end of the covered sides to the far end of the slab. Walking or sitting, you did not notice the drop, but it sure helped when it rained or when I washed the area down! No standing water!!!. The one pic with the fridge shows what the white wall turned into. The 6' smoker is off to the left out of the pics.

The new house will have a 35x40 covered slab for an outdoor area. This will come off the back of the house & be the full width of the Garage / barn (barn is 40x40). Old set up pics here: Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_1400.JPG Views:	1 Size:	2.09 MB ID:	492610Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_1455.JPG Views:	1 Size:	1.10 MB ID:	492611Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_1401.JPG Views:	1 Size:	1.88 MB ID:	492612Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_1396.JPG Views:	1 Size:	2.05 MB ID:	492613

Found a few more pics of the patio after most of the work. And just in case you could not tell, The primary theme for the "party patio" is / will be Gulf Coast salt water fishing and mexican beer . . . .seems to go well together! with a few hibiscus thrown in for color.

I loved the last email with all the MODS cooking set ups with winter backdrops. We're almost full leaf here in GA. I'm a Libra- my grill deck is very balanced. 3 Pellet Grills, 3 Charcoal Grills and one Gasser. We just put the plants out and all Click image for larger version

Think I posted this in the Dream Kitchen thread. Should have posted here. Anyway, we just completed our move to the Black Hills of South Dakota. This is what I have so far. Still have another Weber 2 burner gasser to bring from Michigan. But it's beginning to come together. Would like to add a small stainless steel prep table to the mix.

My project started out as a modest grill gazebo, I wound up, not only with that, but nice entertainment space complete with fire pit.

I've got the redwood counters in and stained. Next step is to pour a thick bar finish to protect the soft wood. Then building a tiled MCS counter, and cabinets.
