I was "MCS" shopping and found on the Blackstone web site they have a upgraded 36†grill with a rear grease drain if anybody is on the fence about purchasing.

How does one make sure you get the rear-end model?? Just curious....for a friend....actually a friend of a friend's wife's hairdresser's second cousin removed......

I see on the Blackstone web site they only show the new version, does not have a product number, has a sku 1554 for the grill without any add ons.

My front drain model is also a 1554, although an additional # is shown on th carton: 363588...not sure if it's th same on th newer model???
In general, from what I see on th Interwebs, if it's ~$199-$250-ish: older model...
