ARRRGHH! I'm sure the SnS is probably one of the best inventions out there & I've only done 1 dry run on the Smokenator. I was on the ABC site earlier today and am chomping at the bit for it, but I need to wait a little while because of the $$ in the SN, and new GrillGrates.
Oh Woe! But I just ordered this for Father's Day! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00..._detailpages00
Powersmoke, knock 'em dead with your rig!

Good for you! You'll be very, very happy!
I love my 22.5 OTS Kettle... and I might have to add an SnS to my array of goodies. Still haven't mastered the Smokenator (yet), but I can highly recommend a Vortex. Below is a link with lottsa photos in case you haven't seen this.
Here's a tip from this website, too. If your kettle leaks, you can use 4 large, black binder clamps to get a tighter seal. It really works - I was blown away when I tried it and will use them for every cook.
Have Fun!

Yup, the one with the big cylinder on the bottom. I've been dithering about getting a charcoal grille and the SnS pushed me over the edge.
Now I need to go get my gasser set up for some big thick T-bone type pork chops currently brining in the fridge.

I think the ash catcher system is worth the extra cash. Hope you got it!

lol nice, I like the color, and I wish I would have gotten the ash catcher one but I didn't. Not that big a deal though.

Which 22" Weber Kettle ?
The original with just the tray underneath, or the new one with the one-touch cleaning system with the big cylinder ash catcher ? Any benefit vent-wise to one over the other ?Tags: None
