Need help with use of new SnS charcoal basket on 18" Jumbo Joe

I am planning to smoke two nice pork chops later today. I will be using a Weber 18" Jumbo Joe using my SnL charcoal basket. Just two chops won't take much more than a hour I expect. I have lost my directions for my almost new (I have used it 3 times) SnS basket and am wondering about how many briquettes to put into the basket. I am thinking perhaps a third full?? I plan to light with parafin cube on one end so that the fire will start on one end only and "snake" its way around. I hope to keep the heat on indirect side between 225 and 250, take to approx 130-135, then move to direct and sear to 145-150. Suggestions, especially as to amount of charcoal any other recommendations are requested! Thanks.

Oh, and if someone knows a link to download a new set of directions for the SnS basket usage, I would surely appreciate that as well! Thanks!! Tom

1/3 to 1/2 sounds about right to me. Close the vents after cook is finished and safe for another cook.

You can find the instructions on the abcbarbecue site under recipes and resources tab.

A big thanks to those who looked in on my request and/or commented! Now a quick followup that might prove useful to others:

Found my SnS directions and followed them. One probably big thing........I located a small lid leak which I clamped and Kettle settled in at 234* and stayed within a degree for almost the entire cook! Seared at warp 10 when they reached 135*. Best chops I have ever cooked!
