    My 26” performer

    Wanted some space to work around the 26”, and the legs are wobbly anyway. Not anymore.

        what'd ya use fer th shelves / top???

        Looks t' be about 12-14 gauge, cold rolled. if'n I was to guess..

        Or, I could be Totally Wrong, based 'pon previously accumulated data...

        My 26.75" NEEDS this mod, certainly interested in any build tutorials, advice, guidance, Pro Tips, etc.

          Awesome! Working on one myself, not that pretty of color though! Love it! Love that thermometer as well. What brand of thermometer is that?

            Ha! The bench color is pretty much the only non-black heat resistant spray. I saw flat black, grey, and brown.

            The kettle is stock "glen blue"

            The thermometer is a
            Tel-Tru BQ300 Barbecue Thermometer, 3 inch

            I have to have a thermometer at grate level, my pk360 spoiled me for that. Matches the probe within about +/- 15F.

            I should also mention that I drilled fan and probe ports as well.

          If I had someone near me that could have retrofitted a steel work table, I would have popped for a new 26 Performer. I wish this had shown up two days ago.
