I like the Weber Q series for a portable gas grill. If you want cheaper though, go with the Weber Go-Anywhere gas grill - I had one of those, but stored it in a garden shed with a leaky roof, and it rusted to the point I tossed it out. For portable charcoal, any of the Weber portable (Go-Anywhere charcoal or Smokey Joe) are good. Nicer are the PK grills.

* - Favorite Beer - the cold one in my hand (craft beers of all flavors; haven't had a blue yummy in over 6 years) my tastes change with the season so it is difficult to name just a couple. However, I will occasionally have a vanilla porter float in the summer (Empyrean Vanilla Porter w/a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream) as I usually drink stouts & porters in the colder months, pale ales & IPAs in the warmer months. I have to add Not Your Father's Root Beer to beers I use for floats.
* - Booze - I don't really have a favorite, but lean towards single malt Scotch & Irish whiskey
* - Wines - Reds: mainly the heavy stuff mixed in with the occasional pinot noir ( I have yet to meet a malbec I didn't like); Whites: German & Nebraska (hey, I have to support the home team)
* - Favorite Spice outlets - Volcanic Peppers - Bellevue, NE
* - Current butchers: Cure - Ft. Calhoun
For some reason the the pic of the smoker built into the front bumper of a pickup keeps going through my mind, but I'll be damned if I can remember which thread it is located.

I have a Weber q and an jumbo joe and I love them both. But, I can load my Akorn Jr up with the coal, wood and starter cube already in it. When I get to my destination I unload, light, and have pork butt loaded and ready to go in 10 minutes that will last 10 hours. That being said that PK looks tempting.

22" Weber Kettle w/SNS, 18" WSM, Bronco, Grilla Chimp, Traeger Tailgater, UDS, Camp Chef Tahoe Stove.
We have a traeger scout that we use, but temp control on it is pretty poor. Thought about a lodge sportsman, but we were concerned about the charcoal smell getting into the rv basement. We will probably replace the traeget with a grilla chimp at some point. Or get a truck we can tow and load the webers in it.

How much capacity do you want, and how portable to you want it to be? If you want something smaller, good enough for 2 or 3 and uses 1 pound propane bottles available at any WalMart, may I suggest a marine grill. Magma is the big name there, but there is also Kuuma. You get something all stainless, and they latch shut making them easy to move (once cool).
If you don’t mind having to keep charcoal around (and having an ashy cooker to stow, the PK360 is more portable than a kettle except for the tiny ones that have less than 1/2 the capacity. Or go for the gold and get the broil King kamado with the trailer hitch holder. Then it shows behind the RV for a no mess no fuss (mess is the problem of whoever is too close behind you) solution.
