That is pretty neat. We used to just buy a disposable charcoal grill from the grocery store, toss everything but the grate, and hang the grate on the outside of the pack. Very light, but kind of annoying and would smudge the pack after the first use. Then we stopped taking fresh food altogether and only eat freeze dried meals now. All around lighter and easier. But not tastier.

Buck Flicks It's all high-quality stainless steel and there is a notch that you can use to scrape the rods clean.

Grill: Grilla Original / Weber Genesis EP-330 / OK Joe Bronco Drum
Thermometers: Thermapen / iGrill 2 / Fireboard
For Smoke: Chunks / Pellet Tube / Mo Pouch
Sous Vide: Joule / Nomiku WiFi (RIP Nomiku)
Disqus: Le Chef - (something something something) - it changes
I feel like it's gimicky and will likely warp, discolor or otherwise not maintain anything like a "gentleman's" function/appearance for more than a cook or two.

OUTDOOR COOKERS
BBQ ACCESSORIES
WOOD & PELLET PREFERENCES
SOUS VIDE
INDOOR COOKWARE
First question that comes to mind, what’s so "gentlemanly" about it !??
Second one, do you think a full packer brisket could squeeze on there?? I need my beef while camping !!!

22" Weber Kettle w/SNS, 18" WSM, Bronco, Grilla Chimp, Traeger Tailgater, UDS, Camp Chef Tahoe Stove.
It is definitely a gimmick. But when I was 25, if I had seen this, and figured I could "saunter" onto the beach with it, throw it down and cook something (hot dogs?), I would have bought it. A fool and his money - and I was pretty foolish back then. Wait, according to my wife...

At least your idea of camping involves a RV, my wife's idea involves a Bed and Breakfast.....
My idea involves the sofa in my house, so I can honestly say I camp everyday!

I’ve seen folding charcoal chimneys that seem like they would work better.

That is for sure a gimmick. About 10-15% of the stuff REI sells is "Fake outdoor" stuff... things that LOOK like they're useful for camping/outdoor use, but are actually useless as a real outdoor item.
That lunch box grill, while cool (I kind of want one,) wouldn't really be useful in a camping situation. It's still too bulky to put in a backpack, and if you're car camping, there are much better options that aren't much larger. Also, the size of the "pit" pretty much limits you to charcoal use rather than open wood fire, which the other collapsible grill pictured in this thread would be capable of.... so you'd have to carry charcoal, too.
Now, all that said, the cool-factor of this thing is pretty high in my book.
