    Revoace gbc1793w dual fuel combo

I finally discovered who made my combo. Now I know after looking for parts all night. Apparently a company call BlossomZ sells them as well.

It looks well set up for dual zone charcoal roasting and smoking. It has air intake & exit control.
Now I need a digital thermometer, some meat, rub and sauce.

I'm a novice when it comes to setting up 2 zone cooking. What are the most common mistakes?

Anything you can think of I'll certainly appreciate it.

Below is the BlossomZ version. I don't notice any difference between the two. Makes me wonder who really makes them...

My current hardware (minus new ThermoPro 910).
It needs a good cleaning and some parts for the gas side. At this point, I'm just going to clean it up and focus on the charcoal side.

As far as who manufacturers it seems to be a company called UniFlame. Click image for larger version Name:	20220706_151501~2.jpg Views:	12 Size:	81.3 KB ID:	1249297

          Nice.
Looking forward to seeing some of your cooks.
It would certainly be a learning experience for me using something with that much airflow

The grill is show without the drip\ charcoal ash trays.

But yes, it's going to be a challenge without the massive airflow. It seals up better with the trays in and the lid sits down in a lip. A burn in\seasoning will demonstrate where the leaks are. I hope it's not too bad.

Well well well. The parts to repair the gas side cost about $135.00. Why should I bother if I can get a NEW one from anywhere from $150.00 to $ 270.00 depending on which one you choose. They appear to be the exact same grill. BTW that's Amazon.

At this point, I'm going to perform the test burn and live with what I have for now. I'll wait for the fall for the big deals on a leftover smoker or maybe a used smoker sooner.

        Now for some charcoal...

Well, some good news and bad news.

I ordered the parts to fix my grill. They should be here next week.

The Bronco is on hold indefinitely unless something major changes.

Both of our health is in question and I just don't have the time or resources. I think I'll try some buffalo ribeye when I get it back together.

Got a small bag of Kingsford original and some lamb loins.

Sinus problems today. May have to wait until tomorrow.

Nothing worse than sinus problems. Plague of my existence. Surgery in 95 helped a ton. Divorce from evil woman who busted my balls every day helped even more, lol.

They heat tents for the gas side has arrived and installed.

The gas side is now functional. The charcoal side works but has massive air leaks. I have found a food safe, high temperature silicone and gasket material on Amazon. Need some cash, so I have to wait.

While it's probably not needed I seasoned them and re-seasoned the grates on the gas side.

I forgot, I ordered a new charcoal pan and hardware!
                Only $32.00 USD including shipping.

Getting the old one out is going to be quite the task.
All the existing attaching hardware has almost corroded beyond recognition. I can see a torch and drill in my future.

First I'm going to try to replace the actual pan first avoiding drastic measures needed for a complete replacement. Everything else still works fine. The pan has corroded to virtually paper thin (as seen in the pictures above).

It should arrive the middle of next week according to the manufacturer.
I'll continue to use the existing hardware until they replacement arrives. I just have to keep a close eye on it while in use.
