I have a 3 burner genesis II. Thought about buying the igrill to go with it. Any input from someone with experience?

I have the iGrill 2 and like it but it does have limitations. IMHO I would stay away from Bluetooth only devices. The wireless range is extremely limited. You want something with either RF or Wi-Fi. There are many to chose from, I suggest checking out the review section.
I have a Thermoworks Signals. To be honest I’ve had some problems with it, but Thermoworks customer service has been fantastic. Wi-Fi devices give you a nice graph to see trends, but you are at the mercy of some app developer to make sure the app works. RF devices are generally bulletproof, but you don’t get the neat charts unless you manually record temps over time and build an Excel spreadsheet.

Sorry late to this! I have the iGrill setup (not sure if it's v2 or v3, to be honest) and it's only okay. The bluetooth range is not great but the concept is good and the app has a good user interface. I do like that it estimates how much propane you have left in the tank but its estimates are imperfect.
Honestly, I would advise saving your money and getting a good standalone RF probe thermometer like the Maverick XR50. I just got one and now I don't use the iGrill any more.
