I mentioned this before talking to jfmorris about cleaning some charcoal grill grates. I like to throw them on the gas grill at high heat, flip 'em around, burn all the gunk off, and scrub them down when hot.

A 22" Weber grate won't entirely fit, but I can still close the lid and rotate to hit every inch. Those Primo grates fit though as does that rib rack on top of them.

Yep. Works really well. The gasser also does a really good job of heating CI and CS cookware for seasoning … outside … without setting off smoke detectors.
