Went to a nearby Lowe's today looking for a new grill brush and found clearance rack with several bags of Weber Apple wood smoking chips for $2.29 a bag. I don't usually use wood chips but felt I should grab a few bags at $2.29 a bag. Everyone likes decent deal every now and then. They were also blowing out small 2 lbs. bags of Kingsford Cumin Chili flavored mesquite briquettes for $1.92 per bag, but took a pass on those.
Looking back, i probably should have purchased all of them since they were really inexpensive, i don't think you can ever have too many bags of charcoal which I had recently loaded up on B & B charcoal from Walmart sale
last month.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

Yeah, I'm not too big a fan of "a test" simply using something to see if I like it, confirmation bias says you will like something you use because you bought it and want to like it. Plus burgers are good regardless, so what would I really learn? I like the side by side, and having my family taste test blind. But, heck, it's all fun! Smoked Transistors
