So I came into some Oak scraps that were leftovers from a building project.
They were used for stairs and railings and probably a few other things.
My question is to any of you woodworkers or others that might know, is this type of wood processed with any chemicals and such as to make it not a good thing for using as smoking chunks?
Or should I give it to my sister for their fire pit?
obviously I would cut off any ends that have that green paint/stain off.
Soo what do you guys think?
