I have to add Not Your Father's Root Beer to beers I use for floats.

* - Wines - Reds: mainly the heavy stuff mixed in with the occasional pinot noir ( I have yet to meet a malbec I didn't like); Whites: German & Nebraska (hey, I have to support the home team)

Beautimous Pic, Brother! Parta me has always wanted a Lodge Sportsman, same part o me insists it might/would be a pita to keep seasoned/rust free, if it lived out of doors, which it'd most likely haveta. Appreciate any thoughts/experience, in this matter... Found em fer as low as $79.99, when I jus looked...doesn't make it easy to say "No!"

I like me a Sportsman Grill! Makes me a bit sad that I gave mine to my son! He likes it too and I am happy he has it. Maybe I should buy another one, just like the other one.

Mr. Bones We keep ours on the table which is on a covered patio, so it's pretty protected from the elements. I wipe it down with some oil every now and then, but it hasn't been a PIA to maintain. I also have the cover for it. Now that is a PIA to put on. The elastic is pretty stout and I'm a wimp. I have to reseason the grate as I neglected to clean after the last cook back in the fall and now there's a little rust. I'm guessing it's from the salt off of the steaks.
