I'm a U-Hauler too. There used to be several places around including a butcher shop about 5 miles away and a couple gas stations that refilled tanks, but U-haul is the only thing close that I've found since those others closed. On top of being able to fill a tank that isn't completely empty and not pay for a full tank, I don't get exchanged out for a crappy 15 year old tank when mine started much nicer and newer.
I recently found that they also sell brand new tanks and are the ones with the little built in gauge. I'm probably going to add a second tank, so I'm going to get that from U-Haul too since I haven't seen new empty tanks at Costco recently.
