Not a pit member but I will try to make him one. He’s an experienced smoker so he will have fun with this! I’m gonna miss it that’s for sure. I have one tri tip left in the freezer I’m going to have to make on the Santa Maria before she goes

Bitter sweet for sure. Not sure if I'm going to reinvest in something else or just run my horizontal for awhile and see how it goes. I did have my eye on a big horizontal that had a roof and side shelters as well as a couple sinks with onboard water tanks and hot water heater, lighting etc.

After owning and cooking on both horizontal and vertical smokers I discovered I'm a horizontal and not a vertical man when it comes to high capacity smokers.
