Two nights ago: simple pleasure of good toast, with some crisp bacon, and of course lettuce, fresh garden tomato slices & mayo. For diversity and inclusion, used avocado as well.
    Otherwise known as a BLTA.

Oven fries, using Yukon Golds, boiled first for 10 minutes, then placed in 445 convection oven with olive oil and salt until crisp and brown.

I’m not convinced Troutman. But then, I don’t like peanut butter ice cream, or cookies, or cake, or cupcakes….

The fry/bake process of the potatoes intrigue me. Yesterday Chips and Fish was a double fry. 320F cool, and then 365F.

SheilaAnn Recipe from Smitten Kitchen. Easy to make.
Oven-roasted french fries as close to the golden, crisp and glittery-with-fine-salt ideal as they come.

I went to the grocery store over lunch today, but before eating and now all I can say is dammit Attjack. I think it’s still the same recipe, but the crust was slightly denser than I remember.

Troutman what is the pizza? We have Sprouts here in SoCal (and I am sure they are around other places). I actually saw Home Run Inn pizza. We grew up on that stuff. I bought one (this was several years ago) and it was one of the worst things I ever put in my mouth. Worse that frozen sliders from White Castle.

SheilaAnn It’s Vito & Nick’s. For frozen it’s pretty good to me. I occasionally see Gino’s East but I’m not a deep dish guy. Yea Home Run Inn’s frozen is tomato sauce on a cracker crap.

Haha! Our local Safeway just had these on sale for 99 cents this past week, so I picked up a couple for quick lunches for hubby and I. I won't buy them when they're over a dollar. I add some of Penzy's frozen pizza seasoning over the top of them. 😁

I had some fresh tomitillos, so... chicken pozole!

I have been thinking about soup myself that looks good! I might try out my new blender. I've never made and heated a soup in a blender before.

Attjack I like it, and my wife said it was good too! It's the first time I've ever had pozole... heard a lot about it, but never had it.

I've made it once and had it a few times (always pork). Delicious.

Malcom Reed's Barbecue Chicken in the Masterbuilt ThermoTemp XL. Wood was apple wood chunks. Aside was yellow rice with veggies.

I'm thinking you meant the "Masterbuilt" instead of "Maternity". (darned autocorrect)

Either way, that chicken looks great.

I felt the pressure of all the hot dog posts this week, but, I failed. No buns in our home. Chili cheese dogs, sans buns.
