    NC/VA BBQ Guys

    Any NC/VA guys here interested in a GTG/friendly competition? Unsanctioned, no entry fees, just ribbons and trophies and bragging rights...

    I am not thinking fierce completion. Just good food, learning from one another, making some FTF connections.

    Funny you ask, I'm trying to find some help organizing a competition on Fort Bragg, or least someone with more experience than me in organizing such events. I was thinking shooting for a Halloween week time frame.

    Open to suggestions, input, etc. Thanks in advance!

      I'd be open to a GTG, but my only portable grill isn't suitable to comp type stuff. Also would depend when and where since I'm getting close to my first retirement so kinda gotta focus on getting my next job or my BBQ income will vanish

      Somewhere near Raleigh would probably be best if you're including VA folks, but another good option could be one of the beach towns out of tourist season to keep hotel costs lower.
