I really just bought a new paint job! Same old pit. But she sure does look purty! Recon I'll cook old school this weekend at the contest in Bryant, AR!

Only when I toss them in the fire box! It's a classic off-set wood burning Jambo Pit, one of the first J-3 models. About 14 years old or so.

Copy that, I misunderstood the advertising on the rig.

It was built right alongside Tuffy’s first one. Tuffy told me at the Jack last year. Back when a Jambo was a Geer Pit!

Please just make sure it's pre-burned, debarked, unprocessed wood.

What do you want to see? Got this fancy basket for charcoal and wood that I put in the firebox this morning. It's pretty cool but very heavy. I confess, I haven't cooked on this cooker since April 2016, but I did take Johnny Trigg's class and this is what he uses.

Huh, fooled me. Not that I am up on those big rigs. LOL. You have a great looking smoker, that is for sure! It will look sweet behind the Van. CandySueQ

I had to go back to a video done at the Lubbock contest. Robert Sierra was interviewing Moe and they mentioned the manufacturer. There are so many Jambo knock offs out there...
