Yes, the Weber Flatlander mini Meat up of Pit People’s invitation crossed my path. I to have aims of attending. What a privilege it is.
Now, what shall I wear?
Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
FWIW, this place is only 15 minutes away from the Weber headquarters in Palatine. Any interest in going there as a group after our session with Meathead? There's a video of the owners and Meathead making porkbelly porchetta on BBQ Stars that makes me really want to try their stuff. Apparently they have a truly stellar beer list, too.
Well, I got the email and feel like I finally won something! Life has happened since I entered this drawing, but I'm getting it figured out. Looking forward to it!
Hi all! I just sent an email to the 10 attendees but in case it ends up in spam (though I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't love an email from me!), I figured I would post here as well.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are forced to postpone next week's event at the Weber headquarters. But rest assured, we are in the middle of locking in a new date, possibly mid-December with a New Year's Eve-themed menu.
The 10 members who were picked for the event will have first right of refusal and if they are unable to attend we'll simply draw another name to fill their spot.
Sorry again for the inconvenience but the date change will be for the better. In the meantime, can the 10 attendees please check for an email from clint @ amazingribs .com and respond to me? I want to make sure you are all aware of the postponement so that no one shows up at Weber next week only to find out about the date change.
Now I have to figure something else to wear, I mean, ya can't wear something twice even if it is only in yer mind.
Good thing I have 6 red plaid shirts.
