    Euphoria!

This past weekend, Mari Jo and I went with some friends to the Euphoria Food Festival in Greenville, SC. What a blast! Our friends have been several times before but Mari Jo and I were virgins. Not any more. We got carne knowledge amd may be going back each year while we’re still middle aged. 😉

On Friday night, we went to Lewis BBQ where they serve all manner of former living, domesticated, bipedal and quadrapedal proteins. We got a ‘sampler’ tray, charged by the pound.

As you can see, they only use fine china, aka, pink butcher paper, for guests. we ordered 4# of brisket, 4 pork ribs, 2 slices of turkey, a gallon of mac n’ cheese, some tortilla chips, queso and Hawaiian bread. Our beverages were lousy ‘ritas from a lousy mix. 😖

Afterwards, we headed over to the Trappe Door, a local brewery that also serves Belgian Trappist ales.

The crew is Calan, moi, Mari Jo and Gillian. Great bar!

Saturday was the Euphoria Food Festival at the Greenville minor league ball park. It costs $75 each for all the food, wine, beer and water you could ingest. What a deal!

Is Moberg the name of a locomotive boiler company?

Looks like a great time. Greenville is a great city with a fun downtown area / Fridays on Main Street where you can walk, eat, drink and listen to live music. I was on the parents council at Furman for 4 years, so I went to Greenville quite often. Thanks for sharing.

Greenville does have a great night vibe. We also went to the farmer’s market Saturday morning. The city closed off a street downtown where all the vendors set up. That’s a real investment in resources and police coverage.

There’s plenty of room out here, Mike. With what you’d save on taxes, you could build a very nice house…with a custom made hood vent.

Wow! That looks like an amazing time was had by all! That popcorn is crazy! Is the CO2 somehow encapsulated in the chocolate so that it releases when you eat it?
