    BGE, Eggspander, Tri-Tip and Shrimp =

    Got the urge for some Tri-Tip. So Sunday I took a trip to my local butcher and picked up a 2-1/2lb prime beauty. Also had some nice 16ct shrimp in the freezer looking for something to do. 😁
    Dry brined for 4hrs, vac sealed with some thyme and garlic and into the bath for 4hrs.
    Marinated the shrimp in a soy,ginger, garlic, scallion concoction.
    Once the tri-tip was done bathing I dried it off and seasoned with pepper,garlic powder and a little paprika.
    Fired up the BGE used the 2 half moon racks from the eggspander and let her rip. Click image for larger version

      Love seeing this set up in action like this. I have yet to try it. Great looking cook man!

        Thanks my brother. That pic should have been better. I, dumb ass me, didn’t slice up the steak with the board sauce. Just placed it on top after the fact. Oh well. Maybe better next time. πŸ˜‚πŸ‘
