About a month ago, For a few weeks I was thinking about selling my Kamado. I thought I wanted to sell it and use the money to buy a 22†kettle and SNS. That thought process started because it sat unused for about 9 months after I bought by PBC. Between the PBC and my gasser (a 30†freestanding Alfresco), I thought I would never use the Kamado again. I was convinced it was too cumbersome. however, within the last week, I have turned out amazing seared steaks, the jalapeño poppers ( for those of you who remember that post) and tonight I grilled a whole salmon filet on salt blocks that were amazing. The Kamado was my 1st smoker and charcoal grill that I bought only 2 years ago. I turned out many a good product on it and it got me to where I am today in my smoking journey. I have decided I will not get rid of that beast! Whew, that was a close one!

Make some homemade pizza on that kamado and you’ll never ever sell it! Nothing comes close! (Well, you could build a wood fired oven, but a kamado is way more practical!) -
