    I checked at the asian food market in baton rouge today..new price is 28.99...
    Uncle Sam was so generous to take me to Asia..sometimes i have strange memories..anyway..i saw many of this type cooker around..not really sure what there charcoal was made from..i do remember in my foggy brain it was hot..mine i use lump b&b of fogo..and i can crank it up...600 plus

    Dude, these are cool. I can have a cast iron wok that work great for this set up. So fun to cook on.

    We had one of those, got it in China town. Never could get it hot enough for wok cooking (versus my 12,000 btu range top). It's good for searing though, like a charcoal chimney. It's useful but I ended up giving mine away.

    this is the wok and pit when i first bought it..have really enjoyed coooking on this.purchase it all around 31 dollars

    it was 22.00 ...bigger one was 28.00 i think...i saw many of them in Thailand.
