Some high heat and a little elbow grease and she's lookin' pretty good. 30 years young😂

On another note, I noticed more white smoke than I was comfortable with, leaking from the lid, so I ordered a gasket kit. I wasn't going to do any mods, other than a notch for probes, (which I did this morning...easy peasy), but the channel where the gasket will be seated is practically pristine. I don't know if I need a gasket but it can't hurt and might as well do it while the mounting surfaces are clean.
