    Some Pit Beef and Bacon.

Had a little Sunday Funday since we had some decent Temps here in Maryland. Not really sure if we ever had a winter this year, minus a week or 2 of cold.

Decided to do a Pit Beef for some sandwiches and then Chilli with some bacon candy as an appetizer.

ID:	804157 Bacon got split between Memphis Dust and Big Bad Beef.

Once the Bacon hit the smoker the neighbors started asking questions so I had to hand out snack plates at the end of the cook lol.

ID:	804158PBC did a bang up job on everything. Ran a little hotter than normal but none the worse for wear.

Reaper likes to be apart of everything, including photo ops.......

That was supposed to be a pic of the PBC.

Had a decent amount of Beef and Bacon left over so it made dinner easy for Monday. Set it and forget it Beer Chili.

I want to eat that. It makes me want to run out and buy an electric slicer and a hunk of bottom round or whatever cut you used, and fire up my PBC.

      Congrats!

P.S. I like the way your pup photo-bombed the PBC shot.

Agree on using round roast, its easier to cut in slices than a chuck most times.
        Taste great.
Always good to have an Asst cook hound, they tend to criticize and offer unwanted advise less than some others. Just sayin.

Beautiful looking pit beef, and bacon. One of our favorite cooks on a Sunday. Roast beef for the rest of the week!
