    Hey jd, a lot depend on what your doing and with what. Here's a good primer if your setting up a grill.

    Most of the recipes on the main site give ounces of chips or chunks by weight. 8 oz for ribs , 16 for butts so on
    I tend to stick to those recommendations pretty closely.
