(3 hours) The PBC group has kicked around more than a few posts on "how much charcoal" is needed for shorter cook times? So here is a bit of info that I really hope helps someone out. Using Kingsford Original, the smaller Weber chimney which holds maybe 40 briquettes, light up half of that. Also, fill the basket on one side of the handle/bar. This will last 3+ hours based on how hot you run it. If you can maintain a 290 temp this will go up to 5 hours.
