    Unintended 24 hour burn on the Big Poppa

    About 24 hours ago I put a full chimney of unlit B&B in the basket, then about 1/2 chimney lit B&B on top. Cooked a chicken on it for around 1 hour at 325 then closed the vents and forgot about it.

    It was still running around 160 this morning at 7 AM. Checked the vents and went to work. It was at 136 when I got home just now, so I opened the vents to see what would happen. It is climbing again.

    Needs some work on the seals, that is for sure. I'd like to be able to extinguish & reuse what is left over after the cook.

    have you reached out to BPS? Haven't really seen too many people post about their home brand barrel cooker before

      No on/off switch? On the bright side, it will keep your cook warm for time, times and half a time,
