Those are utensil holders for the kitchen counter. They sell them at Ikea. I have a couple in my outdoor kitchen that I also bought at goodwill.

Cool! I saw the Ikea stamp on it and thought if it works well as a chimney, I could pickup another at Ikea when this one burns through. While i's stainless it's also thin so it will burn through at some point.

No handle in sight--how you going to pick it up? Use some really grippy tongs or super heat resistant gloves, I'm guessing.

I'm sure you'll come up with something.

I have three ideas. My heat resistant gloves are the first plan. Plan B is to fashion a tool or handle out of some copper wire and pipe I have lying around. Plan C is to go buy something else!

I'm thinking it's a great size for about 6-8 coals. Set it on the gas side burner of the weber for a few minutes...

If that doesn’t work out, they make a half size chimney for the Bronco. I didn’t notice a handle on yours either. $20. @ Academy.

As a bonus it fits over the chimney and inside the chimney chute in the cover. Click image for larger version

Great job! Maybe a write up about your cook on the Bronco channel?
