    What Will You Be Drinking?

I just read that Aventinus is now on tap at the German taphouse in town. I'm not sure exactly when, but I will be making the trip to get a taste.

Look at the foam head! What a waste of space. Would rather have my stein filled to the rim.
Either that or just pop the top of a PBR tallboy.

It won't matter how many times you work PBR into a post. I'm never going to want one. I just don't see anything to luv there.

The responses to your PBR love posts are worth you posting them.

Love PBR, put me in the PBR column.

Make no mistake the glassware is sized to account for the head. I usually order a liter of beer to get started and then go peruse the many food carts. The bar cart surely sells PBR (this is Portland after all).

      Outstanding!!!!
Love trying new beers, pub down the street rotated different brands every few months.
Made for a long walk home some nights.
End of the night still came home to those beloved PBR's....

Nice. I hope you like it. I certainly buy german beer in bottles but the imported kegs really take it to another level.

Scientific study reveals drinking beer turns men into women

Ottawa: In new test results released yesterday, scientists for Health Canada suggested that men should take a look at their beer consumption, considering the results of a recent analysis that revealed the presence of female hormones in beer.

The theory is that drinking beer makes men turn into women.

To test the finding, 100 men were fed 6 pints of beer each.

It was then observed that 100% of the men gained weight, talked excessively without making sense, became overly emotional, couldn’t drive, failed to think rationally, argued over nothing, sat down to go pee, and refused to apologize when wrong.

        No further testing is planned.

Just give me a Yuengling Traditional Lager and I will be happy. Or a Great Lakes Brewing Edmund Fitzgerald Porter and a roaring fire. Or a Heavy Seas Cutlass Amber Lager. Oh heck, anything but PBR or IPAs. Cannot stomach IPAs!!

Yuengling is awesome! Had my first one a few years ago and was literally pissed that it wasn't available here when I was in college. I heard they are finally going to distribute to Texas starting this year.

+1 for the Edmund Fitzgerald, really just about any Great Lakes brew is welcome in my house.

I could drink that! And the photos make me think of the stories my Oma has told me about the Fests back in her homeland!
