Mr. Bones I was never a big fan of Eagle Rare. This was a Dang fine Sip on this day after a long whisky absence. Funny how that works. Back on the whisky wagon until an opportunity presents itself worth having another.

Not a beer guy but that looks delicious. I like stout. Maybe that’s it. That’s what they call’em right? The dark ones are stout?

HouseHomey This is actually quite different from a stout which tend to have a roasted chocolatey coffee flavor. This beer is definitely boozey tasting. It screams for a snifter glass.

Loves me some Guinness Extry Stout, each an every day...
Very limited experience ~0%+- with bourbon barreled Ales, But have had Dragon's Milk #11% ABV, tread keerful (Stout)

A famous beer from Rhode Island. The beer that was enjoyed by the captain of the boat in Jaws. Click image for larger version

I remember Quint drinking Narragansett but I am not sure a Shandy would ever pass the lips of Quint. Not that I am judging I actually like their shandy.

You are right, Quint would never crush a shandy on the boat, he was strictly old school Gannsett. Although if the shandy was around back then he might, it is perfect for 90 degree days on the beach and water.

Amen to that...it is a great shandy!
