Did you happen to notice who they partnered with to brew that recipe? This has to be one of my favorites!

I didn't know that they partnered with anyone on this but it makes sense. It's really good!

Hint: Take a closer look at the label.

Well, I’m back. Let the ribbing begin. I couldn’t stay away from a delicious beer. So without any further ado... Click image for larger version

Different scenario than when my mom found such a thing under my bed 20 yrs ago....

My wife just left for Florida and I've got a jumbo steak cut from a AAA standing rib roast in the sous vide (salt, pepper, granulated garlic and onion, Worcestershire sauce, and a little hickory liquid smoke since it is way too foul out to fire up the grill) and since I didn't plan ahead, it is frozen solid, another win for sous vide, so time for one (ha, who am I kidding?) of these. Also gives me a chance to play with the Live Focus feature on my new phone. :-)

smokin fool - Enjoy! While I love steak done on the charcoal grill or PBC, I'm also perfectly fine with them done in the sous vide and then seared in a smoking hot CI skillet with ghee!

I'm tempted to give sous vide a try, Home Hardware had/has their Kiridori? brand on sale as of last week. Is that a brand worth buying?

smokin fool - Looks kind of cheap to me and I'm not sure I'd love the spring clamp as opposed to the screw clamp on other units. If it were me, I'd spend another 20 bucks or so and go for the Instant Pot one from Amazon.ca. https://www.amazon.ca/Instant-Pot-Ac...2323&hvtargid=

Picked this up today. Refreshing crisp IPA where citrus comes through. Warming me up. Think it's only available in the Northeast, so if you're in the region like IPA, you might want to check this out.

I wish I was more of an IPA fan. Some taste great, but others are too bitter. Huskee, when it's fall, I like Bell's Best Brown, when I can find it in our stores. Is Two Hearted a bit bitter?

fzxdoc Best Brown is probably my favorite of theirs. Two Hearted is an IPA so it will be more bitter yes, but I don't think it's the 'classic' IPA bitter, it's more citrusy than typical IPAs, it is hoppy though.

Thanks, Huskee , for the additional info. The Two Hearted is easier to find where I live, so I'm always tempted to give it a go, even though it's an IPA. Maybe I'll try it. Like you, Bell's Best Brown is my fav of their lineup.

Regular Maker's? Have you tried the 46, and if so, thoughts?

At home, I make my Perfect Manhattan with Evan Williams black label. When Z I'm out at a bar or restaurant, I order them with Maker's. Extra smooth.

Regular makers. I have had the 46 and it was good but I’m not enough of a connoisseur that I could tell a difference, at least not enough to justify replacing regular as my go to. $43 for a 1.75 at Costco is a hard price to beat!

Plymouth martini - in and out.
