While I am smoking ribs and a Boston Butt on the Bronco during a beautiful Texas winter day. Nice change from Kentucky bourbon.

Purc It’s a beautiful day in H-Town as well, 75* and sunny! I’ll be firing up the Bronco also, for some chicken and a little JD later…….

Panhead John TN whiskey is always good. Thanks again to you and the others for recommending the Bronco to me! A great compliment to my Weber Kettle.

I’m really glad you’re digging that Bronco! I saw your cook on the other thread, looks awesome! Cheers to you and CHNeal 🥃
And yeah, between the kettle and the Bronco, there’s not much you can’t do.

    Last night's temperature.

Strange temp swings lately. Almost bought some WP the other day but went for Templeton 6. If you've never tried it, it's great and a good bit cheaper.

Sipper while knocking out a pork loin roast and roasted potatoes for dinner.

Yep, I like BT. Hard to find around here as well. Benchmark would be a good every day mixer bourbon as well!

      Something called Open Smooth Red
don't know where it came from but would not buy this again
      There's no there....there....
Needs more aging or to be blended with other reds
      or something
Then again it may suit others peoples palettes so who am I to pan it, it's just not for me

ID:	1376559 The higher ABV lifts Maker's to another level. Very enjoyable.

Whiskeyman53 This has nothing to do with booze, but I ran across this today, thought you might enjoy it. Brief Larry Bird highlight clips.

Panhead John, posting highlights of Larry Legend, in my eyes you are now an honorary Bostonian.

barelfly, I went to whiskey tasting a couple weeks ago and there were a couple Beam Suntory tables one of which was Maker's Mark. The rep was great, knowledgeable and very generous with the samples. I compared the 46, 101 and cask strength along with the wood finishing series BRT-01 and BRT-02. I liked the 46 the best with the cask strength second. The wood finishing series to me had a little to much oak in the finish. The 101 was a close third.

I call this Vieja Formada - a tequila based old fashioned. Casamigos Anejo tequila, agave, chile bitters. Attjack

This is outstanding! Tequila stands out, but you get the sweet and the heat. I’m loving this and am really starting to enjo the good tequila I have tried the last few weeks.

Nice touch with the chili bitters. I keep some little Thai peppers in the bar freezer to muddle for heat but I would like to try those bitters.
