I am just getting into Scotch, so no expert. But, I really like it. It’s a bit less expensive so a good start for me. No peat, and a bit floral with spice.

About to watch The Walking Dead midseason finale on the DVR. Wild Turkey 101 ought to get me in the right frame of mind.

Knew an old boy years ago who said he drank WT every day of his life and credits it with preventing him from ever coming down with ringworms. Might be something to that...

Sgt Tyree I do believe he was onto something! I appreciate WT101 for its medicinal properties as well. LOL

richinlbrg You too brother! 1794 Rye wiskey, Manhattan. The distillery is in Rockville. Heavy rye spice which I am starting to take a real liking too.

Have you ever tried Catoctin Creek, Mudkat? They are out of Purcellviille, VA - Still kinda local.

The liquor stores around here do carry it although I can't remember if I've had it. I would consider it local. Especially since my town of Thurmont is at the base of the Catoctin Mountains. 😊

richinlbrg. I believe kids need to be and should have the chance "just to be kids." My wife make cupcakes for breakfast on your birthday. They'll,get a couple healthy snacks today but is certainly junk food day. Our kids parties are a neighborhood hit! Especially once the jumphouse goes up.

Drank me many of those, while stationed in Europe. (beyond count, we regularly used a forklift to haul Heineken to our BEQ area from our NEX )
                We had bottles, though...
What % alkohol are they, where yer at, Elton?

Mr. Bones : Thank you for serving : I think the AF flew their Libyan missions out of the UK but had to take "detours" enroute to avoid flying over countries that refused permission to do so. Could very well be wrong though. Memory is full of holes. Love Sicilian food. It's the reason I follow so much of what Nick Stellino does.

All I can tell ya' is we laughed, watchin' th' News, showin' th F-111's at "An undisclosed location in th' UK", after we had jus' walked past them on our way to th' EM club (Either Lava Lounge, or Crater Club, cain't recall) We matched tail numbers, etc. they were sittin' right there, at NAS SIG, at that point..
