For several years, I have shunned drinking spirits, wine and beer within 4-8 hours of each other. I will drink two different types of alcoholic beverages but stay away from mixing in that third one. I’ve only had one very memorable very bad experience involving a bourbon barrel stout on a very cold winter’s night a few years ago. I won’t go into the gory details and I’m not asking for confessions but, who else stays away from the triple threat?

Triple threat or buzz nirvana?

I stopped drinking liquor after some very lucky escapes from documented idiocy. I stick to beer, if I get to the breaking point it usually means I wake up on the couch, in my chair, or at worst on the floor.
Every now and then I'll have some wine.
VERY rarely I'll fold to peer pressure and accept a shot, and then it's a few years until I make that mistake again
