    Michelada

I've also heard this called Red Sea in Mexico, but it's one of my favorites for a hangover.

    Here is my recipe:

    1 Wide mouth mason jar
1 Corona or your preferred mexican beer
    1/2 Lime
    Salt or Tajin
    12oz Clamato or V8
    3 splashes of Worcestershire Sauce
    3 splashes of Maggi Sauce
1-4 splashes of Tapatio Sauce (or Red Hot's)

Fill mason jar 1/3 full of ice
Coat rim of jar with lime
Shake either salt or Tajin on rim
Squeeze the rest of the lime into the jar
Pour Clamato to the 12oz line on the jar
Add Worcestershire, Maggi, and Tapatio then mix
Slowly pour in beer and mix again and enjoy!

Both, but the first more often.

Sounds like the cure for yesterdays and the cause of tomorrows.

Yuck. And, to get to the maximum characters, yuck again.

Just guessing here, but sub the Clamato with V8.

mmmMMMMmmmmMichelada! I love them on a hot day. I buy the Modelo Chelada in cans, which OK, but your recipe sounds really delicious, dwysywd . I'll have to get some V8 and give it a try. I have all the other ingredients already.

In the can, can't beat SOL. Too bad it's only available in Mexico.

Can get Sol in the bottle here in Chicago at the supermarket. The big one, not the Mexican ones.

Sorry, should have said SOL Clamato.

A number of brands sell versions of this here in Chicago, in Latino markets, like near my condo. Not my thing.
