    Bryan College Station area---Frisco's BBQ

Well, the Texas Monthly and others love it. I thought it wouldn't make the top 10 list in Ft. Worth but would be the best BBQ in Dallas.

I read the reviews and the glowing praise. Maybe at their best they are better. I had the ribs, brisket and pulled pork. I asked for brisket off the point but they only had flats left. They were overcooked but good. They sliced them pretty thick (a trick for overcooked brisket) and had a nice flavor. SMALL smoke ring. Ribs were about the right texture, not falling off the bone but easily removed and a decent bark. They were dry rub and not sauced/glazed at the end. The pulled pork was a bit shy on bark and smoke....but tasted fine.

Like I said, it wouldn't make the Ft Worth top 10 list. But it would be the best BBQ joint in Dallas for sure.

Dang, and all this time I though Dallas and Fort Whatever were the same thing.

Dallas has something Fort Worth will never have. It is 30 miles east of a truly great city.

McGraw Hill has it. Months to go....

Coolness. And you are aware that Tim McGraw married Faith Hill???

I think we head back to that place east of Fort Worth end of July.

Lived in Dallas for 6 months years ago...hated it. Been to Ft Worth several times...love it. From Austin, lived in Houston 30 years and now at total peace in Tiki Island and smoking regularly

I am not really a Dallas hater.... Fort Worth people just love to rib them.... or brisket them....
