Located on Cincinnati's east side, Eli's is a terrific location with a simple, limited menu: usually, one can only get ribs, turkey, pulled pork, or hot dogs, although a special can be seen every so often, such as riblets. All of these are long-smoked, and a variety of traditional sides are available. Furthermore, the price is unbeatable- $5 for a main, $8 for a main and two sides.
Eli's has been very well reviewed and was visited by Alton Brown recently. An example of one review can be seen below.
I would thoroughly recommend to any BBQ enthusiast!
We have two weber kettle grills (one LARGE and one small/average), the SnS and the Weber Smokey Mountain 18" smoker. We use both natural lump charcoal and KNB for smoking and measure our temps with a Maverick 733, thermopen and MK4. Favorite beer depends on what is cooking (alt answer is yes).
