    Best BBQ joint in Branson?

We will be in Branson for several days next month and would appreciate your tips on best BBQ. Haven't been there for several years and I know that places keep changing. I value your advice. Thanks!!

We were in Branson 2 years ago and stopped at Lamberts Cafe (home of Throwed Rolls) in Ozark MO about 30 minutes north of Branson. It's a fun place for all ages. Not necessarily all BBQ but good food. Well worth the trip in my opinion.

Looks like they now take credit cards. We went to the Sikeston, MO location when my oldest was in college at SEMO and they only took cash at the time. My youngest is finishing her senior year at Missouri State University and the Branson location is not that far away. Might have to check it out.

Any other ideas for good (real) BBQ in Branson? I'm here now through Friday.

Huskee Curious as to whether or not you have found any BBQ yet. I found a place that wasn't any good but don't remember the name (selective memory).

Clark nope. I'm not really into going to the tourist traps that say BBQ on the sign and wasting money to find out it was mediocre, hence me asking here. I'll probably just stick with other stuff unless I hear a great word-of-mouth recommendation here.

Huskee I agree 100%. I'd rather go without than have bad food of any kind. There should be some good catfish joints in town and some delicious fried pork tenderloin sandwiches.

Gettin' Basted is excellent. They won KCBS team of the year in 2020. I ate there a couple years ago on vacation and the BBQ was top notch.
