Best bbq I have had in Iowa and the upper Midwest for that matter. Sean, the owner, was super friendly and excited to share his methods. Hired a guy to build his 4000 lb. stick burner on back patio which is accessible for visitors, especially during summer.
Had the sampler platter which included pulled pork, ribs, chicken, plus ordered a link sausage because they make their own. Ordered sides of Cole slaw which Es good and mashed sweet potatoes which was great. All were fantastic!
Sean also makes his own sauces, including red, spicy red which I would compare to Georgia sauces, a Lexington vinegar sauce and a mustard. Again all were great, but like the uniqueness of vinegar and the mustard in the Midwest.
