What to ask at Lang class.

Reverse flow is a great thing but it has its limitations. A little bit of meat in my 48 in Lang and my temps everywhere are steady. Throw on six pork butts and there might be a 30 F temp difference from side to side. Not saying that's a deal breaker. Love my Lang. Just ask for recommendations about how to adjust if you're planning on loading that puppy to the max.

How much wood will I go through for a (fill in the blank) cook?

Boy I wish I could help, especially since it is a major investment. The one thing I do always suggest is to get the names of a few ownrs and ask their opinion. They know, and the opinion is not coming from someone wanting to sell you something. Good luck and enjoy the class.

What to ask at Lang class.
I considered adding to the previous post, but chose against it, it seems like a different topic to me.
So I’m all signed up for Lang class in November, but my schedule is so full until then, and I’m a tad overwhelmed. There’s my 50+ hour a week day job, at least six competitions, 4 catering gigs, and my annual Happy HOLLA-Weenie Party. Not to mention parenting, and of course husbanding (you know what I’m talking about; lawn care, home maintenance, car maintenance, and stuff).
I have a short list of questions to ask before I drop 10k on a cooker, but I was hoping y’all could drop a few questions for me to add to my list. There’s no wrong questions to ask, so let’s have em.
I will greatly appreciate any suggestions.Tags: None
