My wife and I attended the Omaha EggFest yesterday hoping to pick up some new techniques and recipes. We were not disappointed! The weather was great, the crowd was friendly and the food was awesome. The contestants were so friendly and offered up all of their secrets. (some even had their recipes printed up as handouts) The host HUB (Helping You BBQ) did a great job, especially John who was so familiar with his equipment and inventory. Adjacent to the EggFest was a steak cook off competition, free to the public. I saw the PK grill in action for the first time, nice! The PK paired with a set off grillgrates works slick. Now my wishlist is just a little longer.
